How to care

• Dust: Use a soft, dry cloth along the grain.
• Spills: Wipe immediately with a slightly damp cloth, then dry.
• Protection: Use coasters/trivets and saucers under plant pots.
• Climate: Keep away from radiators/heaters and prolonged direct sunlight.
• Moving: Lift—don’t drag; add felt pads to the feet.
• Cleaning: Water + neutral pH soap only; avoid alcohol, bleach, solvents, abrasives, silicone polishes, and steam.
• Oiled / hardwax-oiled finish: Refresh a thin coat wipe off excess to a dry, even sheen.
• Lacquered finish: Wipe with a damp cloth; avoid “shine” sprays and steam.

What to avoid

• Standing water or leaving wet cloths on the surface.
• Placing very hot items directly on the wood.
